According to the press service of the Belarusian government, from 1 January 2025 the base amount in Belarus will increase to 42 rubles. This change will result in an increase in the amount of fees for the registration of intellectual property rights, which may affect the expenses of both individuals and organisations.

Taking into account the upcoming increase in fees, it is recommended to take all the necessary measures before the end of the year: to submit applications for registration of intellectual property objects in Belarus, to take actions related to their extension and maintenance and to pay the required fees. This will help avoid additional costs and take advantage of the current lower rate.
